Kehinde Ayeni graduated from the University of Ilorin in 1995 with a B. Sc. Honors Degree in Geology and Mineral Science after, which he joined Petrochambers Limited as a training Geologist and rose to the position of a Senior Geologist with responsibility for Geological and Geophysical Data Analysis and Interpretation.
In 2003, He proceeded to the University of Ibadan, where he obtained his M.Sc. Degree in Petroleum Geology / Sedimentology in 2005.
2006, He joined Degeconek Nigeria Limited as a Production geologist and was seconded to Pan Ocean Oil Corporation (Panoco) as an Onsite consultant geophysicist responsible for all geoscience interpretation and prospect maturation for the ongoing drilling campaign in OML 98.
In October 2007, he was seconded to Petroleo De Venezuela South America (PDVSA) office in Venezuela, where he worked as a Consultant Geoscientist responsible for the generation / interpretation of all geological /geophysical and reservoir maps for the Field Development and Reservoir Studies of Soto Mapiri & Laceibita fields, located in Oriental basin, Venezuela. While at PDVSA he was a member of advisory committee of the Latin American Integrated team, providing technical consulting on geoscience matter.
In 2011 to 2013, He worked with China National Oil Development Company (CNODC) as a Geoscience Consultant and a member of advisory committee on Exploration, Prospect Maturation and Government Relations. He was responsible for evaluating OPL 471, where he generated drillable prospects and propose a well for drilling.
Kehinde joined Nubian Nigeria Limited as a Principal Geologist in 2013 to 2014, where he was responsible for Geophysical Interpretation aspect of the Field Development Studies of Shell Imo River Field Maturation Studies (OML11) before moving to Andora Technologies Limited where he was till 2016 as a Senior Earth Scientist working on Mobil Isobo Field Development Project (OML 67). He joined Gldynamic in 2017 as a Project/Business Development Manager.
In his career, Kehinde has worked in various areas of Geosciences including but not limited to: Structural, Stratigraphic Interpretation, Seismic driven Plays and Prospects Generation across many acreages; Seismic Acquisition, Sequence Stratigraphic interpretation, Reservoir Characterization, Sedimentological studies, Hydrocarbon Asset Evaluation for Exploration, Field Development and Production Optimization projects in Shallow & Deep Water Setting.
He has personally and in study teams analyzed seismic, petrophysical, and production data from 100s of wells in several fields across the length and breadth of basins in Nigeria and South America, giving him a balanced understanding of the structure and stratigraphy dynamics.
Kehinde has more than 19 years’ experience with balanced knowledge of oil industry operations and practices, which have been employed for hydrocarbon discovery.
He is an expert user of OpenWorks / Decision Space, GeoGraphix and Petrel software. He had also undergone trainings in Industrial / oil field HSE Management and Behavioral Safety.
